We’re excited to share another major milestone in our Rise & Build journey! Last week, Velocity Church officially closed on the purchase of an additional 0.6 acres of property directly next door to our future church home!

As construction continues on our new building, this additional property provides even more room for future growth and expansion. It’s an exciting opportunity to think beyond where we are today and prepare for what God has in store for the years ahead.

From the very beginning of this journey, we’ve been reminded that God leads us one step at a time. We don’t always know what the next step will look like, but time and time again, we’ve seen His faithfulness and provision along the way.

This purchase is another exciting step forward, giving us greater flexibility as we continue planning for the future of Velocity Church.

Our vision has never been simply to build a bigger church. It’s to reach more people, strengthen families, invest in the next generation, and see Brenham transformed by the hope of Jesus.

We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity and faithfulness of our church family that continues to make moments like this possible.

October 2026 | Building Update
Welcome to our Rise & Build updates! Each month, we’ll share the latest progress on our future church home, celebrate exciting milestones, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at what God is doing through this journey. October has been another exciting month of progress at our new building! Concrete sidewalks have been poured around the exterior, and interior framing is nearing completion. With each passing week, we’re beginning to see the spaces take shape where we’ll soon gather for worship, build community, and invest in the next generation. Looking Ahead As we move into November, we’re looking forward to seeing stonework begin around the exterior perimeter of the building. Inside, work will continue on plumbing and electrical systems as we move closer to the next major milestone: installing sheetrock! We’re excited to see these spaces continue to take shape as our future church home comes together. Throughout this journey, we’ve continued to see God’s faithfulness. What started as a vision is becoming a reality, one step at a time. Thank you, Velocity Church, for your continued generosity, prayers, and faithfulness. We’re grateful to be on this journey together.
